Policies and Terms

At La Peau by Helena, we are dedicated to providing a serene, results-driven, and personalized skincare experience.
To ensure the highest standard of service for every client, please review the following policies carefully before your appointment.

§ Appointments & Scheduling

Booking: All appointments are secured via our online booking system or directly through our front desk. A valid credit card is required to reserve your appointment.
Confirmation: You will receive an automated text or email reminder 24–48 hours prior to your service.
Arrival: Please arrive 10 minutes early to complete any required consultation forms or updates.

§ Cancellation, Rescheduling & No-Show Policy

Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. We kindly ask for your cooperation with the following:

Cancellations or reschedules require at least 24–48 hours’ notice.
No-shows or same-day cancellations will be charged 100% of the scheduled service.
Clients who arrive more than 15 minutes late may need to reschedule and will be considered a late cancellation.

We understand emergencies happen — please contact us directly, and we’ll do our best to accommodate

§ Payments

We accept credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, and cash.
Gratuities are appreciated but never expected.
Prices are subject to change without prior notice. Current pricing is always available on our website or booking platform.

§ Consultation & Medical Disclosure

Before any treatment, clients are required to complete a skin and health intake form.

You agree to:

Disclose all relevant medical conditions, allergies, medications, and treatments.
Notify us of any changes before each appointment.

This information ensures your treatment plan is safe and customized to your skin’s needs.

§ Contraindications & Limitations

For your safety, certain treatments cannot be performed if you:

Are currently using Accutane (within the last 6–12 months)
Have open wounds, active cold sores, infections, or contagious skin conditions
Have undergone recent chemical peels, laser, or injectables within a contraindicated time period
Are pregnant or nursing (for specific treatments only)

Your esthetician will always evaluate your skin and determine the appropriate service.

§ Treatment Results & Homecare

Skincare results vary depending on individual factors including skin condition, lifestyle, and consistency with homecare.
We recommend using professional-grade skincare as advised by your esthetician to optimize results.
La Peau by Helena does not guarantee specific outcomes from any service or product.

§ Returns & Refunds

Services: All services are non-refundable. However, if you are dissatisfied, please contact us within 48 hours, and we will work with you to address your concerns.
Products: Unopened products may be exchanged within 14 days of purchase. Opened products may only be returned if a documented allergic reaction occurs.

§ Privacy Policy

Your personal and medical information is confidential and securely stored.
It will not be shared with third parties without your explicit consent, except where required by law.

§ Liability Waiver

By receiving services at La Peau by Helena, you acknowledge that:

Treatments involve the application of professional skincare products and techniques.
There are inherent risks (redness, sensitivity, irritation, breakouts, etc.) that can occur even with proper care.
You release La Peau by Helena its owners, staff, and contractors from any liability arising from your treatment, except in cases of proven negligence.

§ Code of Conduct

We maintain a respectful, inclusive environment for all clients and staff.
Any form of harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior will result in immediate termination of service.

§ Agreement & Consent

By booking or receiving services at La Peau by Helena, you confirm that:

You have read, understood, and agree to abide by the above terms and policies.
You authorize your esthetician to perform the selected treatments and to adjust as necessary for your safety and comfort.
